Conditions of P-D-R Membership |
- There is
one class of membership – corporate membership. No individual
or personal membership is available.
- Representatives
of corporate members must belong to the scientific, biomedical
or technical information function of a research based
pharmaceutical or biotech company and be able to report
on the non-confidential aspects
of the information science activities of the corporate member they
represent.
- Representatives
must commit to make a positive contribution to the work
of the P-D-R, e.g. to act as a coordinator for a
specific topic.
- An annual
meeting is organised by each company on a rota basis.
- Companies
interested in becoming corporate members of the P-D-R
should contact the P-D-R secretary or any other member
of the
P-D-R board
for further information.
- Note: The
majority of P-D-R member companies spend over $1billion
per annum on R&D
activities.
